.AT Reaches 900,000 Domain Name Registrations Milestone

nic.at logoNic.at, the registry for .AT domain names, have announced they have crossed into a new frontier with the 900,000th .AT domain name registration.

The milestones sees continued growth of around ten per cent per year despite the global financial crisis. For the last ten years growth has averaged the same ten per cent per year.

The one millionth domain name, going by current trends, will be reached around the time Nic.at hosts the Domain Pulse conference in Vienna in February 2011 said Richard Wein, Nic.at’s Commercial Manager.
